We should all be proud that a Chinese, Mme Clarkson(Poi), became the
Governor General of Canada. Congratulations to her indeed. But I have
looked for information in regards to her being Hakka and so far have
been unsuccessful. Can anyone tell me where I can find information about
her Hakka roots? Thanks. Are we too eager to claim yet another famous
Chinese to be a Hakka? Please tell me this is not so. I need proof for
my Cantonese friends !!! Thanks.
