<Tongue in Cheek Alert> New Hakka Homeland...

I nominate Madagascar as a Hakka Homeland!!!, Wait a minute, weren't the 
Jews alotted that piece of real estate? yes...But they refused it, and held 
out for Palestine...

Its silly to go looking for a New Hakka Homeland, whats wrong with the land 
that we already have? Dongjiang, Jiaying, SW. Fujian, some parts of Hunan, 
Jiangxi and Sichuan...and don't forget the diaspora.
China and the Whole world is our Homeland, but, if want to be more 
local...Jiaying, Dongjiang and HK is also our homeland...

I agree we should do something about promoting the use of Hakka, 
Standardising the Dialect by adopting Meixian Accent, but to do an
"Ataturk" (Latinising your language) with latin characters is doing a 
disservice to our own orthography.

I also agree with SLLEE, That to BE CHINESE is foremost to being Hakka, 
Since Chinese reinforcs our Hakkaness.
