Yue  Guang Wa Wa 
The moon was shining brightly 

倒    水     貢      豬     媽
Dao Shui Gong Zhu Ma 
Fetched some food to feed the mother pig 

豬   媽  不   肯   大
Zhu Ma Bu Ken Da 
Mother pig was not growing

拿  去  和  豐      賣
Na Qu He Feng Mai
Took it to He Feng to sell 

賣  了   幾  多   錢
Mai Le Ji Duo Qian
How much was it sold 

賣   了   五  百   錢
Mai Le Wu Bai Qian
It was sold for fve hundred cash 

有   了   錢
You Le Qian
With that money 

買     雞        仔
Mai Ji (Gai) Zai
Bought Many chicks

養     養      養
Yang Yang Yang
Rear rear rear

養     到     大
Yang Dao Da 
rear until they were big

拿  去  市    場       賣
Na Qu Shi Chang Mai
Took them to market to sell.
