Re: 有關閩南語, about Minan dialect

Dear Mr. Peng,

Thanks for your feedback.  I am not from taiwan or Minan. The part on Minan was supplied by Minan friends. According to my experience, Minan sound on li ni and ri are sort or in between. It is not very exact as in Japanese (which is very close to Minan dialect) ri and li are not distinguished.

This website was established for the purpose of introducing Chinese culture to non-Chinese or overseas Chinese who have lost touch with the Chinese culture, so it is mostly in English.  Of course, we have a lot of scholarly readers who are well versed in both Chinese and English.

You are right, I have not seen any Chinese site on Chinese dialects.  Please do write to the forum and make any corrections, so others can view and discuss it too.I am forwarding your letter and my reply to the forum.

Thanks for your interest. Please keep in touch through the forum.

有關閩南語的部分有很多不大正確
像"你"這個音比較接近"Li"不是ni
其他有許多缺空
我想台灣這有一些資料

還有,為什麼都是英文咧?有沒有中文有關方言的站呢?

謝謝
