I am afraid that I cannot help you as I have no idea about
the Hakka settlements in Southeastern China where my ancestors
once lived. I am forwarding your message to our Hakka Forum hoping
that some of our Hakka friends here can assist you in your 
Master Theses. By e-mailing your draft proposal to me to read is just 
like "Dui4 Niu2 Dan4 Qin2" playing piano in front of a cow or playing
music to a cow, as I know nothing about this subject.
