Surname for Chuck

Dear Friends,

I don't agree with Dr. Lee's assumption that "Chuck" is ¨ô or »C, because
these characters will be spell as Chock or Chack instead of "chuck" when
they are pronounced in Hakka.

The more possible characters should be ¯¬ or ªÇ (Zhu4 or Zhu2 in Mandarin)
which are all pronounced as Chuk by McIver's system (Some Hakka accents
distinguish between Ch and Ts), and most possibly transcribed to Chuck. In
Cantonese, their pronouncations are also very similar to Hakka, and are
transcribed as "Chuk" in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Cantonese are transcribed with
a system which distinguish between Ch and Ts, reflecting the pronunciation
about 150years ago). ¯¬ is a more common surname than theªÇ, and ¯¬^¥x is
the main character in the "Butterfly lovers".
