Subject: Help with Chuck-A-Sang/Mann-Fook

Hi

I'm from Guyana and I'm looking for information on my paternal
grandparents surnames. My Grandfather's name was Charles Chuck-A-Sang.
I figure 'Chuck' was his family name. I know this name is not too
common. Some said it might be Zhuo.

He came to Guyana from Suriname. We have no birth or immigration
papers for him. He died in 1950 and was believed to be about 50 yrs
old. My family says he corresponded with someone in what was South
Borneo. They believed it was a brother.

My Grandmother said the they were Hakka. I guess she to him Hakka. She
was born in Guyana, I think, in 1901. Her name was Alberta Mann-Fook.

Any infornmation on these 2 surnames would be much appreciated.

Renata Chuck-A-Sang
