About Hakka (fwd)

Hi, I stumbled upon your Hakka webpage while I was searching for information on Singapore History because I'm doing a panel presentation for my Political Science 324 class at UBC (University of British Columbia). Since I am of Hakka origin myself, I decided to take a peek at your page. I think it's wonderful! First time I encountered a page about my own language. You provide a lot of information and it's really great to know that the language is so alive and thriving all over the world. The ONLY Hakka people I know are my relatives in Vancouver, Malaysia and Brunei (I was born there). It's really interesting to read about the origins and history of the people and I feel very enlightened. Thanks for this very informative page and keep up the good work!!!
