Hi SL Lee,

Cheng Chao, the Siam King, is widely believe, especially in Thailand, to be
of Teochew ancestry.
If I did not get my information wrong, he has a Chinese father and a Thai
mother.
However, he was a tyrant and was overthrown after some years. The new King
is the ancestor of the present Thai King.
