I am a hakka too

Dear sirs,

I am a Hakka too. I am very glad to read this web page about my people.
I 'd like to exchange my
ideas with you.

1. Hakka are very similar to Japanese, because both got influnce from
ancient Chinese. We Hakka
are pure ancient Han people, so we keep most ancient Chinese culture,
and Japan, because it is
isolate islands, their culture changed little, so we are much more
similar.
But we can not say Hakka set up the Japanese culture. Xu Fu took
3000 people to Japan, but
they were not Hakka at that time, even thought their relatives stayed in
China became Hakka more
than 1,000 years later.
Why the Hakka and Japanese are so similar, I think we should
consider their living environment.
We all know Japan is a country lack in nature source, So Japanese must
WORK
HARD.And Japan is in danger of earthquake all the time. So the Japanese
do not fear death.
Japanese is one of the most BRAVE nations in the world, also because
Japan had been long
time in civil war, a lot of local governments fighted against each
other, coward can not survive, every
one must fight to live, to survive, they must be brave. And because
Japanese have been soldiers for
long time, they are ACTION people, they can THINK and then to DO. The
third is Japan is
isolated islands, very small space for them to avoid others, so they
need to learn how to live together
in small space. They must be LOYAL to their group. Civil war emphasize
these charactors.

About Hakka, our ancestors fled from north, both moving and settling
were very difficult and
dangerous, only the strong and brave survived, we had no pity to
coward, to weak. We had
struggles with our native neighbours in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and
Jiangxi provices for a long
time, we have to be BRAVE, or we can not survive. And because we are
late comer, so we
mostly live in mountain area, very poor nature environment for economic
actitives, we have to
WORK HARD. We all know we Hakka people have our castle house, we live in
the
shadow of war every day, and a big family live in a castle, very small
space. We must be
LOYAL to our group. These 300 years' Hakka history following struggles
and war, we are
ACTION people too. No other Chinese group like we Hakka live in war for
so long time in
recent history. We are similar to Japanese very much.

I have a feeling that most other Chinese have some kind slave like
charactor, but we Hakka are free
people.

2. It is said Li Guang Yao's family only live in Singapo for 3
generations, his grandfather were from
Mei Sian directly, not from Indonesia. Chinese all have family history
books, perhaps you can send
an e-mail to his family to make it clear.

I hope to make friend with other Hakka people through your help.
