Re: hakka: Re: Chinese migratory observation

Dr.Lee,

Turks, run the gamut of racial types, I have even seen Black Turks
(Africans who speak Turkish, Yuck), I have seen Greek Looking Turks
Arab, persian, Indian looking Turks, I have even seen Turks who are of
the Mongoloid racial type (Kyrgyz, Some Uighur, Salars from Tsinghai and
Gansu etc.) and for some reasons probably the HUI
Mandarin speaking Muslims have Turkish Blood, The way the Turks built
their Empires, they probably Intermarried, mixed their genes and presto,
we have a racial rainbow of Turks. If it looks like a turk, smells like
a turk, and rides a horse like a turk, Behaves like a turk it must be a
Turk. But excuse me, I regard anybody who sleeps in a Yurt or a Ger, A
Turk, and that Includes the Mongols.

Sherman

You know where I see these People, During the Greek Demonstrations
outside of the Turkish Embassy in New York, They are always walking in
and out shouting out some form of Turkish to us, I assume its Turkish,or
Kyrgyz, Nogay, gaguaz, salar, Chagatai, etc. But you should see whats
sorts of Turks come out, I was surprised to see a Black person shout
Turkish epithets at me. Man that was scary.

Sherman,

I don't think Khitanians (Kitanians) were Turks. Khitanians may be
similar
to Xiongnu and Mongolians but not to Turks. A mummified fair hair lady
warrior was found in Turkistan (see Discovery TV), buried with horses.
I
think she might be Turks. Khitanians and Xiongnu, as I understand so
far,
should have black eye and black hair (Mongolian trait).

Things are quite confusing because Xiongnu left little literary record
to
follow. So, we just have to leave it as such for now.

SL Lee
