   Is Amy Tan a Hakka?

   The famous contemporary American Chinese author Amy Tan
has written several books. Chapter two of one of her books
entitled "The Hundred Secret Sense" describes the toughness 
of a Hakka woman. Amy Tan also describes how the Hakka boys 
pursuit the Hakka girls by singing the old mountain songs that 
they had brought from the north one thousand years ago....
.....It is a very interesting chapter.
