Dear Mr Chu,

I know 228 is a very controversial subject that is why I dare not mention
it in anywhere else. The Taiwanese Government has suppressed it for so
long. This is a second generation now and yet the descendants of the
victims do not know the true behind this incident. It is more than 50
years now and majority of the Taiwanese of this generation were not even
born when the incident happened.
The reason behind my mentioning of 228 was that I think the cigarette
seller was a Hakka woman. No one knows except her offspring.

Will read through them and tell my friend the true story of the Hakkas in
Taiwan. Thanks for the information.

I am not a scholar or a historian but just a story teller.

Sincerely
