Dear Michael:

Yes, there are quite many teaching materials for Hakka in Taiwan.  If you
have Big-5 fonts, please read my webside for the Hakkafa resources:

If the lady knows Han( Chinese) characters, there are no problems to
find different kinds of books and tapes.  There are few places in Taiwan
have the books, tapes and video for Hakka.  If you don't have the Big5 to
read Han characters, I have older version of the materials to tell you
where to orde.  Please let me know, I can mail to you. Again, all of them
except one are written in Chinese though.  The only one use English to
teach Hakka called "Hakka One" by George Harkin published in Taiwan in
1975.  I don't know you still can by it or not.  You can find the address
and phone in my websides.
