A Hakka Nursery Rhyme

   I am sure some of you still can remember this 
   Rhyme that your Grandma sang to you decades ago.

   A Hakka Nursery Rhyme (seven words sentences)

   The bright moon shone on the pond
   Beside the pond where the chives grew
   When the chives started to bear flowers
   It was time to grow the pumpkin
   When the pumpkin grew round and big
   Bamboo were the next to be planted
   When the bamboo grew bushy and tall
   It was time to rear the foal
   When all the foal grew to horses
   It was time to keep some goats
   When the goats grew fat and big
   They should be sold in the market
   Then it was time to keep chickens
   When they had grown into remarkable sizes
   A prosperous new year was in sight
