Thank you for the New year's wishes. You all too a Xin Nian Gung Xi. We un
Indonesia are also celebrating Muslim Hari Raya tomorrow. The whole city is
abandoned and all the people have gone back to their villages. That means
that our servants are also gone for one whole week. Good for them, but for
us it means doing all the husehold work usually left to them.
I don't think Hakkas have special tradition for New year. But for my mother
a must is a dish with sea cucumbers. (Hoy sem)
