 sorghum vinegar

Dear Forumites,

Sorghum vinegars are thick quality, mellow flavour and full of delicate fragrance. Shanxi Old Mature Vinegar is one of the most famous Chinese sorghum vinegars. I have been told that Cantonese Chinese 'tossed' noodles; as in "Char Siew Loh Meen" taste heaps better with a dash of Shanxi Old Mature Vinegar. It is also good with 'wontons' or 'suei kows'. It seems that the Italian Modena balsamic Vinegar pales in comparison to the perfumed scent of Shanxi Old Mature Vinegar.

In China sorghum is also used to commercially manufacture monosodium glutamate. Maybe this is the secret behind the 'flavour' or 'aroma'.

Where can I get Shanxi Old Mature Vinegar in KL or Sydney? Please help.
