 Components in "tie da" medicine
Author: Leslie Chong
Date:   08-02-06 11:58

I looked at my grandfather's hand-written "yao shu" (medicine book) (he was a TCM doctor). I was checking on the "tie da" formulas for treating injuries. Listed are components like tiger's bone and horse's foetus. In general, nowadays you can substitute cat's bone or chicken bone for tiger bone, but what do you use for horse's foetus?
