TCM Height increase

Hi,

I am 5 feet tall ,I have heard that TCM could increase human height by stimulating the pitutary gland . Please Inform me about the treatment and cost time and gain of height in inches .
I am verymuch disturbed because of my short height , Please help me .....

Prescription of growth hormone can increase height if you are still growing (i.e. before 18 years old). There is no TCM I know of that can increase height.

I don't know any TCM that could help to increase your height.
But I knew that in China, there such an operation that could increase your height a little bit.

It's base on a very simple theory.

Let me give you a rough idea of how it works.

First they would cut both the bone of your legs into half.
Next they would implant a platinium device on the bone. The device is adjustable...

During the period which the broken legs started to heal by itself, the doctor will adjust the length of the device which was implant into your bones earlier. Perhaps 3mm a day...till it reaches a desirable and sustainable length....But don't be too ambitous, and ask for the impossible. :o)

This will definitely increase the length of your legs.

Please give me a tip to increase my height. I am a man aged 24 but I am only 1 meters and 60 centimeters tall. I have a constant complex inferiority about my modest height. This also brieves me of my self- confidence and job opportunities. Once I made acquaintance with a girl and she suggested us to meet each other one day. I like her but I do not dare to meet her because I am afraid that she will be disappointed and she will say I am a dwarf and she will laugh at me. I dunno whether your kidney problem, and diabeties have some impact on your growth or not.

But appareantly, they do.

A friend of mine who is also diabetic..at 28, his high is around 5.2'.

Prescription for growth will be more effective during puberty.

Yes...
China/'guang dong' hospital did carry out such " Hight increase" operation.
Infact such operation can also be found in Hong Kong[SAR] hospital.

Fact is, it had nothing to do with TCM..

Patient will have to be warded in hospital for a period of at least two years...under constant observation and high adjustment.

It claims that patients have successfully attain and increase the high between 8 - 12cm.

It was a Russian's invention..and a over 100 years old theory.

Remember; such surgical operation has nothing to do with TCM in particular.

For TCM, there is no such thing as magical pill to "hight increment" - maybe some herbal stimulants, which is only useful and effective during the development stage of growth.

There is a known natural method involving a lot of discipline and committment to practice the Chinese enegertic arts of taijiquan, qigong and other disciplines which stress good postures and internal body work. It works because the spine is straightened, and if this becomes habitual, you "add" another inch or two to your vertical height. There is nothing wrong with straightening the spine, because the curve in the spine is actually not the natural shape but the result of evolution (man standing upright).

as mentioned[ if you have gone through all the articles on subject ] there is no "wonder" drug [ not even TCM ] that will help to increase your height after which you have passed you puberty age.

That is classified under: Cosmetic surgery. Not TCM.

You can only go through some sort of sugery that may lengthen your height between 5 to 10 cm[ about 4 inchs ].

I'm aware that some major hospitals in China, as well as Hong Kong are conducting such an operation. - but I don't know in details; such as cost, duration, risk, doctor, and hospital.

This forum is strictly for Traditional Chinese Medicine or related.

There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.

Why there is no one here to advise the lot to accept what you are? It is more important to improve the "height" on your knowledge and self esteem than your actual height with whatever means. There are enough examples of short people in all walks of life who have achieved great things in their chosen fields.

Don't be a loser! It is your capability that defines you not your height.
