hey, that is good advice for any marriage, not only Chinese. I was married to an Irish-Catholic Canadian for around 1000 years; body of a goddess, mind of a hydra. Then one time I came home after working from 7AM to 6PM, then classes to 9PM, she had dinner and a bottle of wine ready (first time in 7 years). We ate, it was food, what can I say, I ate it and went to bed. Next morning I saw that the left-over pasta was "penis" pasta - noodles shaped like a penis. As quickly as possible I got that divorce. A complete lack of respect. Long story short, after that my career took off, I married a Taiwanese woman who was living in San Jose. Seven years later, we still have mutual respect and life is good as we know it. I gain 5000 years of wisdom from her, she gains 5000 years of warfare from me. I'm Italian, what can I say. Maybe our offspring will take over the world. Can't convince her of the fact pasta was invented by Italians, so maybe not so smart.
