First of all I am an American man engaged to a girl in China. It just happened and I have visited 3 times to China. I read that many Chinese girls look overseas for marriage because the men treat them poorly. I am no expert on this but since my engagement I have branched out to the Chinese community here in the states. The men I have met are all great men. They have become my friends and help me with cultural issues and are offended by me helping them in return.
I do not know why so many CF look for love elsewhere. It is not because men mistreat their women. I get so tired of hearing this. All races have good and bad men and women. Stop with the stereotypes. I also have met great Chinese men in China. Never have I been treated so well--because I was a guest in their country. In my numerous trips, I have met many Asians. I stopped in Tokyo but somehow have never made a Japenese friend. In China, someone was always looking out for me. I made friends without trying to do so. Thank you China for opening my eyes to friendship, love, and family values.
