可克達拉是哈語，漢語意為綠色的原野。可克達拉位于霍城縣清水河鎮、新疆生產
建設兵團 ６２團和霍城縣三道河鄉的中間寬闊地帶。可克達拉現在是新疆生產建設
兵團６４團屯墾之 地，經兩代軍墾人改造成良田，現已成為中國最大的甜菜基地。
