過香積寺 Guo4 Xiang Ji Si (Passing by Xiang Ji Temple[1A])
不知香積寺,---Bu4 zhi Xiang Ji Si,
數里入雲峰.---Shu3 li3 ru4 yun2 feng.
古木無人徑,---Gu3 mu4 wu2 ren2 jing4,
深山何處鐘?--Shen shan he2 chu4 zhong?
泉聲咽危石,---Quan2 sheng yan4 wei shi2,
日色冷青松.---Ri4 se4 leng3 qing song.
薄暮空潭曲.---Bo4 mu4 kong4 tan2 qu3.
安禪制毐龍.---An chan2 zhi4 ai long2.

The explanations in plain Chinese and English.
(1) 我不知道香積寺的所在,
I don't know where is Xiang Ji Temple,
(2) 走了數里路, 方纔走到有雲氣的山峰上;
Having walked for several miles, I come to the top of the cloudy mountain;
(3) 只見到一珠一珠的古老樹, 卻看不見行人的小路.
I see many old trees but not the footpath,
(4) 又聽得這深山裏面的鐘聲, 不知從那裏發出來的?
I can also hear the sound of a bell but I have no idea when it comes from?
(5) 泉水的聲音好像要把高峻的石頭吞下去,
The sound of the flowing water in the stream sounds like swallowing the
high steep stones.
(6) 淡淡的日光, 冷冷地照在青松上.
The sun shines on the cold green pines.
(7) 到傍晚時在這個空潭中屈曲的地方, 正好修練靜功,
In the evening, it is good for meditation,
(8) 制伏那毒龍一般邪念.
To rid of your evil thought, in this tortuous open space near the pond.

Xiang Ji Temple (香積寺) is in the north of Nanziwu Valley (南子午谷), south
from the city of Xian (西安市) in Shaaxi province (陝西省). Apparently,
the temple is near a pond called Kunming (昆明池)
