自君之出矣 The song of Since You Left
自君之出矣,---Zi4 jun zhi chu yi3 [*1A],
不復理殘機.---Bu4 fu4 li3 can2 ji [*2B].
思君如月滿,---Si jun ru2 yue4 man3,
夜夜減清輝.---Ye4 ye4 jian3 qing hui.

(1) 自從你離去以後,
Since you had left me,
(2) 我就把織布機擱置著, 再也沒心情去理會那些還末織完的布匹.
I locked up my loom and I did not have the mood to finish those half done
cloth.
(3) 我每天思念你, 面容一日日的消瘦, 就好像那本來圓滿的月亮,
Thinking of you daily my face looked emaciated everyday, like the waning
of the full moon.
(4) 一夜夜地減損了它明潔的光輝一樣.
That every night it became less brighter.
Note:
自君之出矣 Since You Left was a popular song during the Han Dynasty (漢朝
202BC to 220AD). The author Zhang Jiuling complied it in his collection
of poetry.

]作
為首句。這些作品中﹐後人大多認為以張九齡這一首最好。
