Dear all,

The first thread, "Zhenghe Visits The Americas ;-)" (found at the following link: http://www.asiawind.com/forums/read.php?f=11&i=173007&t=173007 ), is such a success, reaching nearly 100 posts, 90 and counting, that I've decided to split it into a second thread.

In one of the recent articles I've read about Zheng He, it says that one of his grand-fathers, or was it great grand-father, it doesn't really matter was Persian. ;-0

I found that quite interesting. I knew he was Muslim and probably had non-Han blood but didn't think it was Persian but I guess it does make sense. ;-)
