Dr. Lee is correct. There are official and unofficial records of the Xuande announcement. To their shame, the historical "establishment" in America simply will not confront the evidence.
The unofficial records of the Zheng He visit to America state that a memorial 'rainbow dragon arch' was carved on a bluff overlooking a great river. This arch was discovered by explorer Marquette in 1673 along the Mississippi River and became known as the 'Piasa'. The land it was located on was purchased by a United States Senator in the 1850s. He tore the Piasa down and burned much of the limestone it was carved upon to produce mortar for cement. There still exists a good painting of the Piasa which was painted about 1847. It closely resembles a memorial, still standing in Nanjing, which was erected by Zheng He's men after their return from the seventh voyage.
