Wu Wei by me is very simple -- and in less than a few words ..
When we do all works for the benefit of others and not oneself -- this selfless status is Wu-Wei -- Wu, as one desires nothing -- and Wei, is the intention -- and also, that Wei-can be expressed also as desire --.
We we do not have the desire of power, greed, lust and gluttony -- we are becoming a more evolved human being .. It is that simple.
Altruism has been neglected mostly by the West and by Asians who are still emulating the facade, the external side of the West and are being contaminated --- Altruism , just to see Confucius, Dao, Buddha and their emphasis of compassion and the caring of others -- (even Christianity, but they have conditions of original sin, death, hell ..etc ) Wu Wei rides with total Altruism --
Where do we find Altruism ? the self less act -- We do that daily ..
When someone said "Thank you", and for the most part, we respond by "don
't mention it "
In my both Spanish and Portuguese, we say "de nada" or -- Of NOTHING,,
as in French "rien" or in Italian " Niente" ....
Wu Wei -- I have just created the word " Nadism" deriving from both Spanish and Portuguese -- of Nothing :)
