不求金玉重重貴,---Bu4 qiu2 jin yu4 zhong4 zhong4 gui4,
但願兒孫個個賢.---Dan4 yuan4 er2 sun ge4 ge4 xian2.
I do not ask the gold and jade to have high value,
All I wish is that all my offspring will be wise.
不求金銀財寶越多越好，
但願子孫個個都有出息。

只要目的正當,---Zhi3 yao4 mu4 di2 zheng4 dang,
可以不擇手段.---Ke3 yi3 bu4 ze2 shou3 duan4.
The end justifies (or sanctifies) the means.

只要船頭坐得穩,---Zhi3 yao chuan2 tou2 zuo4 de2 wen3,
不怕四面浪來頭.---Bu4 pa4 si4 mian4 lang4 lai2 tou2.
Only if the prow of the boat is steady,
It should not be afraid of the waves jolting the boat from all sides.
