I am learning it. Trying to learn it. It is hard for me as well.

We are conditioned to show what we have, not what we have not. We take pleasure in our achievements, not in having done nothing.

Even in the spiritual realm, we want our surrender more grand and complete than others'. Or else we want to see it as more mysterious and unfathomable than it is.

I seem to suffer from the latter.

What of all the visions that I thought I received when a child and the instructions I obtained? Were they... could they have been simply aberrations of perception due to various factors?

Compared to the love I have for loved ones, do they really amount to a hill of beans?
