So right Suen. It started independently as an objective news agency to report on the Iraqi invasion. The US tried to close it down. Now, it has gone to sleep with the West, and the editors always give their Western bias. One can see that a small negative side of China is exposed in order to condemn the whole nation. In the present Chinese Filipino island dispute, the Western media, including Al Jazeera, cast China as the villain bullying other SE Asian nations. Although China is right no Western political analyst would speak out. In politics, there is no Western academic objectivity. The days of Joseph McCarthy are back, but instead of anti-communist, it is anti-China or anti-Islam. At one time I believed in Western liberal thinking and the Rule of Law. Instead we see "Democracy" and "Human Rights" used as political tools for military invasions. All these abetted by Western media run by corporations and big business.
