Re: Is China a real paper tiger ?

China has turned into another Ah-Q. This is not because the Chinese people are cowardly. Even in the weakest days of the Qing Dynasty there were many Chinese who had stood tall and willing to make any sacrifices to defend China's honor. China's weakness has always been due to the corruption of the ruling clique who were willing to sell out China's national interests (in the old days national interest is synonymous to emperor's selfish interests). So corrupt officials thought they were only robbing the emperor who was uncaring of the people anyway. But in this new day of China, Chinese people should begin to think of national interests as the interests of all of the Chinese people and of the Chinese nation. In order to do this, China must become democratic so that people don't confuse Chinese interests with the interests of the Chinese Communist Party. Personally, I have no willingness to sacrifice myself to help the CCP just as I have no willingness to help some big company such as Foxconn. Foxconn can go broke and I won't be unhappy. By the same token I won't be unhappy if CPP disappear. But unless there is a clear distinction between a political party such as CPP and the Chinese nation, the Chinese people won't feel compelled to make any sacrifices just to prop up a corrupt government or stop their corruption. Especially, the corrupt Chinese officials themselves don't feel any willingness to sacrifice themselves just to make the CCP more dominant. Unfortunately, the Chinese officials have become like a bunch of eunuchs after the emperor had died. Now they are robbing China anyway they can because they think they are just robbing the dead emperor or the defunct imperial family.
