 Indian Missile called "China Killer"
Author: Tin-Kay Goh

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/ND21Df01.html

India has successfully launched a new ICBM Agni-V named after the Hindu God of Fire and Sacrifice. The Indian officials called it "China Killer". I cannot understand why Indians keep harboring an ill-intent towards China, be it taking part with a US-encirclement of China at her eastern flank, giving sanctuary to Tibetan dissidents or deveoping ICBMs to strike deep into China. We can understand Indians wanting to have a stronger India, but to label the ICBM as "China Killer" is going beyond the pale. The Indian psyche is one of getting even for a war some half century ago. China has started trade talks with India, and there have been exchanges of visits by the leaders of the two countries. I do not understand this sneaky Indian feeling.

Well, this may "irritate" you since that is what I do, ;-) but consider the facts; the missile is meant for China. Nations design weapons with certain purposes. China has ICBMs designed to destroy America. China has ballistic missiles specifically designed to destroy American naval interests as far away from China all the way to Hawaii. Nations develop strategic plans and weapons based on potential scenarios "going hot". It is what prudent military planners do. Because China already has ICBMs that can reach anywhere in India, why so suprising that India will respond in-kind?

The economic collapse of the Soviet Union was because of its excessive military expenditure. Similarly, the US has overextended itself militarily as evidenced by its huge debt problem which is now the size of its annual GDP. India can ill- afford spending its precious financial resources on war/defence and neglect investment in infrastructure construction. I think China's policy of massive investment in infrastructural projects is a correct one. China should not be sucked into an arms race with the US/India.

Of Chinese ICBM is meant to flatten and burn USA. But we don't make it official. That's called diplomatic skill.

As for India, the government official overtly make the statement that her missiles is called "China Killer"...as if China missiles DF16, DF31 can not cover the entire India.

China don't need missile to distroy India, cause India going to be plenty of coup d'état, seperation, civil war, religious war to keep Indian very busy, poverty, disparity that leads to civil war, and etc....

In other words, India is a weak nation. Even Vietnam is far better shape than India.

Indians are known for their "Iron jaws", anyone can outsmart any Indian, but you can never out-talk Indians...vis-a-vis, can not out-lie a whites man, hence "Whiteman speak with forked tongue."
