U.S. should not muddy the waters over South China Sea

"Strengthening the mutual trust by common development and creating a peaceful atmosphere to solve the disputes of the South China Sea are the consistent standpoint of China. In as early as 1980s, China had proposed the fundamental principle of “putting aside disputes and developing it jointly” for peacefully solving the disputes of the South China Sea. The principle proposed by China accords with the long-term interests of all related countries and is also a guarantee for the safe navigation of the South China Sea. For many years, China has stuck to this principle both in word and deed. Facts have proven that China is a responsible country for the peace and security of the South China Sea."

U.S. should not muddy the waters over South China Sea

The problem is intensified by the "appearance" of weakness of the Chinese leadership. Weakness only invites more attacks. Therefor, if the Chinese leadership wants to see peace in the S. China Sea then it must respond "normally" to challenges by foreign aggressors. It is nonsense for China to propose "joint development" in the S. China Sea. Whose sovereign territories are they anyway? If Nansha I. and Xisha I. are Philippines' sovereign territories then China has no right to ask Philippines to develop it jointly with China. If, on the other hand, these territories are Chinese sovereign territories then why should China share it with Philippines or any other countries? Therefore, it is shear nonsense for China to offer joint development. China is not behaving normally like a powerful nation whose sovereign territories are being invaded. It is behaving more like a thief who is trying to steal other countries' territories by wanting to develop them jointly. Therefore, stop this nonsense of offering joint development and simply declare that these territories belong to China and give the invaders an ultimatum to clear out of Chinese sovereign territories. Otherwise, China will use force to evict them and make them pay compensation for the cost of war.

If China is firm then there will be peace. If China continued to be weak then war is inevitable; or China will end up losing its sovereign territories in the S. China Sea. Frankly, I'm disgused with the Hu-Wen team of idiots and cowards. These two donkeys have shamed China in the eyes of the world. A forceful show of force would have long ago settled the problem instead of this endless agonoy of shame. And the two still try to cover up the shame by saying that S. China Sea is now "peaceful." It is not peaceful. The peace has been forced on the Chinese people by shutting down the voice of the Chinese patriots calling for more forceful defenses of the motherland. All these time Vietnam and Philippines have been increasing their invasion into these sovereign territories of China. The only good things about these two is that their time will soon be up and China will be led by a new team. Hopefully the new team will have more sense of honor and dignity and do the right thing to restore peace in the S. China Sea and uphold China's honor.
