風雨 Wind and Rain

淒涼寶劍篇,---Qi liang2 Bao Jian pian [*1A],
羈泊欲窮年.---Ji bo2 [*2B] yu4 qiong2 nian2 [*3C].
黃葉仍風雨,---Huang2 ye4 reng2 feng yu3,
青樓自管絃.---Qing lou2 [*4D] zi4 guan3 xian2.

新知遭薄俗,---Xin zhi zao bo2 su2 [*5E],
舊好隔良緣.---Jiu4 hao3 ge2 liang2 yuan2.
心斷新豐酒,---Xin duan4 xin feng [*6F] jiu3,
銷愁又幾千.---Xiao chou2 you4 ji qian.

The explanations in plain Chinese and English.

(1) 好淒涼啊! 這首寶劍篇的文字.
The piece of writing on this precious sword is very sad,
(2) 因為在異鄉飄泊, 差不多要一年了.
I have been wandering in foreign places for about a year.
(3) 樹上的黃葉, 仍舊在風雨裏擺動,
.The yellow leaves are as usual shaking with the wind and rain.
(4) 青樓上面, 依然有彈吹歌唱的聲音.
There are music and songs from the buildings where the Call Girls live.

(5) 我的新朋友在澆薄的風俗裏過生活,
My new friends are living in poverty;
(6) 舊朋友和我已隔斷了良好的因;.
And I have lost contact with my old friends;
(7) 現在我心中不想得到新豐那邊的酒,
Currently I am not yearning for the wine from Xinfeng.
(8) 但要銷愁解悶, 又須花費幾千文酒錢了.
In order to get rid of my worry and frustration I don't mind to spend some
money to buy wine to drink.
