秋夜曲
The song of the autumn night

桂魄初生秋露微,---Gui4 po4(*1A) chu sheng qiu lu4 wei,
輕羅已薄未更衣.---Qing luo2 yi3 bo2 wei4 geng yi(*2B).
銀箏夜久殷勤弄,---Yin2 zheng(*3C) ye4 jiu3 yin qin2 nong4,
心怯空房不忍歸.---Xin qie4(*4D) kong4 fang2 bu4 ren3 gui.

The explanations in plain Chinese and English.

(1) 月亮剛纔生出來, 秋夜的露水很稀少,
The moon has just come out and there are few dews in autumn night,
(2) 但我穿著薄羅的衣服, 覺得已嫌單薄, 但還不曾更換哩.
But I am very thinly clad and have not changed my clothing.
(3) 在夜深時候, 我殷勤的彈弄著銀箏,
In the deep at the night, I continue to play silver zheng eagerly ,
(4) 因為我害怕著空房寂寞的情調, 所以不忍回進去.
As I am afraid of going into my room to face the sentiment of loneliness.

Notes:
(*1A) 桂魄 (gui4 po4)
This is another word for moon 是稱月亮.

(*2B) 更衣 (geng yi)
Change clothing 更換衣服.

(*3C) 銀箏 (yin2 zheng)
a 21-25-stringed plucked instrument in some ways similar to the zither
箏樂器名, 銀箏是用銀為飾的箏.

(*4D) 心怯 (xin qie4)
fear; dread, 畏懼的意思.
