Dear all,

China is too slow in moving into Indonesia. There are plenty of potential in Kalimantan and Sumatra. Both can be turned into agricultural exporter.

It's never too late.
Besides China couldn't make investments earlier when Indonesia had anti-Chinese laws.
Now it's a lot better for the ethnic Chinese.
I saw that the climate for ethnic Chinese are much better since the riots of 1998.
I read where many non-Chinese Indonesians also celebrated Imlek this past Chinese New Years. ;-0
Imlek. That's what they call it. ;-)
I'll start a thread on Indonesia and the Chinese when I've time. ;-)
China should help to foster better relations with Indonesians by helping to raise the living standard of the Indonesians.
I saw this BBC News video on how a rich Indonesian businessman is raising money to educate the Indonesian poor.

It's an eye-opener.
China and rich Indonesian Chinese should get involved. ;-)
Build schools, libraries, playgrounds, sports centers, etc.
Build infrastructure, housing, power generation facilities, etc.
Be a good neighbor. ;-0
Still amazed that Indonesia has the largest Chinese community outside of China herself. ;-)
Bigger than Malaysia, bigger than the UK, Australia, Canada, the US.
Bigger than any mother!!!! ;-)
And happy Imlek everybody. ;-)
