I don't know in what way does ethnic cleansing and human rights have to do with this topic. Perhaps you can start a thread on these topics, and I will be glad to forward my views on them.

I posted this research work by Matthias Tomczak, a professor with Flinders University, because it provided an interesting perspective to various turning points in World history that have far reaching impact to the political structure that we have today, and offer his views on why things happened the way it did. He should understand the European culture better.
