The following article is from the book titled "馬來西亞客家鄉賢錄" on Hakka
customs.Published by the Federated Hakka Associations of Malaysia.
轉妹家 means: A married housewife visiting her parents' home
"藍子" 裏裝的是孝敬父母, 親長的禮物, 有吃的,有穿的, 有戴的;

the family during her absence. She would bring presents for her parents,
brothers and sisters.
Once a woman is married she stays in her husband's family for her whole
