Thanks for the explanation. However, I am not impressed. The Monkey King is a known to be mischevious but he is not a useless person. I have heard this "Born from stone" being said by Hakkas but I could not understand the true meaning of it. Someone out there may have other versions to it. Can it be a heartless person or a person who was not raised up by his own mother? I have seen a rerun cantonese series TV show by Patrick Tze Yin and the statement " Born from a stone " was mentioned. Its meaning I got was not a useless person but a person who was abandoned by his mother. Can the Cantonese version on this subject matter be the same with the Hakka , that is: A Bastard.
I hope what I have written is not offensive to this Hakka forum and if it is, my sincere apology. I hope someone with knowledge on this can either confirm or provide alternative answers to this.
Thanks.
