Dear Friends:
The below web sites says that the ethnic group the She, may have given the Hakka Tulou architecture? Has anyone heard of this before? Is there any proof or sites to visit?

"But there is now evidence of the existence of the tulou from before the arrival of the Hakka, most are today inhabited by other, South Chinese, ethnic groups.
The She people (a subgroup of the Yao people) lived here in the hills before the Hakka and inspired them in such matters as gender roles, division of labour, and even their architecture. "
