Dear People:

First, I want to thank Mark Hiew for his excellent report on "Meizhou and Hakka Cultural Museum Guide (particularly for non-Chinese speakers)". Is this a Hakka museum? Was there enough Hakka culture displayed in the museum to make the trip worthwhile?

Also want to thank forum founder SL Lee for his posting on the Hakka Roundhouses. Does anyone have the current National Geographic web site since the site he gave has been changed.

I would like to know which Hakka buildings we should visit this fall, on our second trip to Hakka Villages in China. We are interested to learn more about their sustainable lifestyle, their composting systems, their rammed earth techniques, and their culture. Last time we went, we visited 32 buildings and stayed in 10.
