Further rebound: Index closed 12,166.95 (+107.75)

The HS Reference index in London market finished last Friday 
night at 11,940 (+1). 



This morning the July futures opened at 12,065 (-44), bringing 
the cash market to open at 12,079 (+20) fifteen minutes later.  
The market dipped to the intraday low of 12,033 (-26) after 
around 20 minutes of the trading, but then moved back to the 
12,050 level. The market was well supported at this level, with 
the morning session closed at 12,062 (+3).  Half day turnover 
was 5.1 bil HK$. 

In the afternoon the market was further pushed up on HSBC and 
the China related shared.  HSI finished at 12,166 (+107).  
Total turnover was 10.3 bil HK$.
