Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan

I have been living in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan, for the last ten years. It is a great place.
This weekend I will be in Taipei for a few days. If any one is visiting Tokyo, let me know by email, & we can go for a drink. My place is not far from Shinagawa Station. Here is a video of Shinagawa Station :

It was my third trip to Taiwan. The short vacation was nice, visited Taipei 101, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall & Garden, etc., stayed in three interesting hotels & went by Express train to Pingtung.

It has been quite cold in Tokyo this week, with heavy snow. Around Shinagawa, where I live, there are many interesting places, such as the local Mall I go often, to have my bike repaired, have a cup of coffee, or buy some foodstuff. Here is a video of Mushashikoyama Mall :

Here is another video of Musashikoyama Mall at night, it shows well the various shops. In the evening, I go there often for some Japanese, Chinese or western family style food. As you can see from the video, of sorts of things are sold at the mall. The mall is next to the train station, bearing the same name, Musashikoyama Station, a few stops from Shinagawa Station.

At the entrance Mushashikoyama Mall, across the road, there is a "Koban" police box, where one can ask for directions. One or two blocks from the Koban, is the "Togoshi Ginza", interesting little place, with many local shops, restaurants, cafes, medical & dental clinics, pharmacies, books, fish, vegetables, fruits, flowers, & conveniece shops. There are two train stations at Togoshi Ginza, the "Togoshi Ginza" station, & the "Togoshi" station.

PS: the Intercontinental Hotel is on the higher floors of the Shinagawa station,
and the Prince Hotel, across the station.
